Bored? Have pent up creativity you need to get out? Need a new adventure? Want to find new ways to be and to communicate and to live? Need a recess in your life? Take IMPROV! Learn how to get out of your own way, trust your gut, speak your truth, listen deeper and play more. Through games, exercises and drills, break through walls, open doors and laugh the whole time! Open to and life-transforming for anyone in any walk of life! 2 classes in the package focused on life skills.

ALL IN A DAY IMPROV INTENSIVE
Curious? Not ready to commit to an 8 week session? Need something fun and different in your routine? Or just need a day of play? Then the intensive is for you. All are welcome. No experience necessary. Get a high dose of improv in a highly safe, supportive, challenging and ridiculously fun way! Offered bi-monthly. (if that means every other month...)

IMPROV ONE
Where it all starts. Intro to improvisation, basic skills of scene work -- point of view, action, relationship, environment. Introduction to declarations and reactions: physical and verbal. Emphasis is on getting out of your head and into your body, ensemble building and play.

IMPROV TWO
A further exploration into everything we started in Level 1. Continued scene work, honest moment to moment being, full body listening, introduction of 3rd person entrances, heightened work on point of view, relationship and environment.

IMPROV THREE
Continued scene work. Heightened character, relationship, conflict and status work. Discovery and play in group mind. Introduction of long-form structures such as Harold and Montage. Exploration of games.

Prerequisite: Improv TWO

IMPROV FOUR
Deepen into structures of Harold and Montage. Introduce and play in other long-form structures. Introduction of musical improvisation. Continue work on making specific, truthful choices, deep relationships and inspiring environments. Completion of program. Performance showcase on last day for industry, family and friends.

IMPROV FIVE: Sketch Writing
Learn the skills necessary to write, rewrite, edit, improvise, rehearse and perform a sketch comedy show based on a theme. The class meets weekly with writing assignments given. 9 weeks of rehearsal and class ends in performance at Comix.

PERFORMANCE 'SHOP
Continue to heighten and explore skills of improv--post-graduation-- in a weekly format culminating in an end performance for industry, family and friends.
