Everybody Go!
A game in which players take turns making silly sounds and motions to which the group replies with a resounding “YES” and a mirror of the sound and motion.
Goal: To reinforce the concept of “Yes”, to get physical in our bodies and to remind us of the concept of play.
The Takeaway: “Yes” moves things forward and has a profoundly positive effect on the individual and the group. Saying “Yes” keeps the game going—whatever the game may be. Being in our bodies gets us out of our heads. We're in our heads all day long. The body is instinct and impulse and truth. Lastly, bringing a sense of playfulness to what we do enhances any activity or task.
Ad Game
Players pretend to be team members in a very important ad agency which has just snagged a really big account. Their job is to create the entire ad campaign in 3 minutes or less! Jingle and all!
Goal: To work together in a listening environment to achieve a goal.
The Takeaway: Something wonderful and unique can be created where before there was nothing when we do it together, listen to each other and say 'Yes'. No judgement, no wrong. And imagine what can happen when you actually have over 3 minutes?!?!
...of what is possible!]
And will bring fun back to your workplace!
